Family Affair
My mom, Isabel, started making beauty products with natural ingredients a couple of years ago. My sister and my son struggled with eczema, and nothing was helping. My mom decided to try natural alternatives to steroid creams due to the chemicals in these products.
A Hobby Becomes a Purpose
She quickly branched off and started making other products like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, among other things. I would receive packages like the one shown in the picture with new products she was trying. Pretty soon, it became her mission to get rid of all store-bought beauty products and replace them with her creations.
Why Emerald Botanicals
My mom, Isabel, immigrated from Colombia to the U.S. in the 80s. It has always been important to her to share Colombian culture with her family. In honor of our Colombian roots, we chose Emerald because Colombian emeralds are said to be the purest emeralds in the world.
